RIBBIT – Rib Injury Bedside Information Tool
Dr Tom Ainge has developed an app, which aims to assist in the rapid identification and risk stratification of rib fracture patients. At the moment it is FOAM and w have developed it for use in our NHS site, however, we are applying for registered trademark.

Have a patient with fractures? It can take an age to put the kit together and then mobilise, either the patient to you, or you to them.
We have developed guides on the gear and the rapid access kit you need to keep the patient safe. FRACBOX means you don’t have to remove the patient from a place of safety where they may now be, in order to administer the appropriate regional anaesthesia block.
